- Analytic Kantianism (esp. Sellars)
My primary area of research is Kant scholarship. I'm particularly interested in applying insights from Kant’s work and the work of those influenced by Kant to topics such as the unity of science, the structure of scientific methodology, and the connection between science, reason, and common sense. I'm also interested in the philosophy of language (esp. the relation between syntax and inference).
